Question by WildChild: Can I design my own images with Cricut Personal Electric Cutter?
I got a cricut personal electric cutter for christmas and was wondering if I could some how hook it up to my mac and have it cut out a design from photoshop or similar program? Or am I stuck to using the premade crap from the cartridges? I don't care if I have to use third party software to do this if there is a way to do this.

You can use this with a hacked firmware provided by them to open up the cricut http://www.craftedge.com/index.html

I scrapbook quite often so i'd really like to get the cricut expression for projects and stuff. They're so expensive at michaels they're $ 400 etc. I've tried ebay and amazon and the prices are still pretty steep. HELP!
