I have been scrapbooking for years but stopped because of school, work and taking care of my family. I want to get in the hang of it but I find it too hard to get inspire, setting layouts and so forth, and too tired to do it at night. By 9 or 11pm, I am out like a light.

If I feel overwhelmed but need to catch up on scrapbooking, I do it a little at a time. First I make sure all my pics are printed out. Then the first night, I'll categorize them. Second, I'll choose from each stack the ones I actually want to scrapbook, and file the rest of them away. So now I have 4-8 pics for each page/layout. Then I check my supplies, and go to the store and get anything I might need to stock up on, glue, etc, and while Im there I look for specific paper and notions for each layout. Just anything that catches my eye. That always motivates me, knowing that I have the exact pics already to go, and new paper/stickers/eyelets/etc to work with. After that, its easy breezy! And when Im that prepared, I can usually pump out a dozen or so pages/layouts in a matter of a couple of hours! Good luck to ya!
